The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has issued a circular referring to the dry bulk vessels operating between West Africa and the East.
The Suez Canal Authority has determined that Circular No. 2/2021, along with its subsequent renewals and amendments issued on December 18, 2022, which pertain to the discounts offered to Dry Bulk Vessels, whether laden or in ballast, that operate between ports in Mauritania (including its Southern Ports in West Africa) and ports in the Arabian Gulf, India, its Eastern ports, and the Far East, will continue to be applicable until December 31, 2023.
Please note that the last allowable departure date from the originating port is December 31, 2023.
This circular was issued on June 21, 2023.
