UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency has issued the list of vessel traffic services and local port services course providers for 2023-24.

MIN 554 (M) Amendment 6 was issued on 31 August 2023.

1. Introduction

1.1 Candidates should contact the training organisations directly via the details below to view dates of the courses being held.

The VTS training organisations should also be consulted to determine any Accredited Prior Learning (APL) requirements particularly for non-marine applicants, if appropriate.

1.2 Further guidance can be obtained from the current Marine Guidance Note 434 Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) as amended – Training and Certification of VTS Personnel.

1.3 This information will be promulgated on an annual basis.
