Rules for the Classification and Construction of Sea-Going Ships amended by RMRS

Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) has amended its Rules for the Classification and Construction of Sea-Going Ships. The amendments incorporate part XX. of the Rules.

The changes of the Rules in part XX. are introduced in Paragraph  5.10.17.1 with regard to signalling and internal communication.  It specifies the minimum requirements that the internal communication should comply with to ensure clear audibility with the machinery at work.

The amendments entered into force on October 1st, 2022.
