RMRS amends Rules for the Classification and Construction of Ships

Classification Society Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) has amended the first twelve parts, Part XIV, Part XVII, Part XVIII and Part XX of Rules for the Classification and Construction of Sea-Going Ships. The amendments entered into force on the 1st of January 2022, except for Part XX which enter into force on the 15th of March 2022.

Amendments introduced by Circular Letters have separate enforcement dates, which are 21.03.2022, 15.04.2022 and 01.05.2022, so users

The present edition of the Rules is based on the 2021 edition taking into account the amendments and additions developed immediately before publication.

The procedural requirements, unified requirements, unified interpretations and recommendations of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) and the relevant resolutions of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) have been taken into consideration.
