RMRS amends Guidelines on Technical Supervision of Ships
Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) has issued a Circular Letter amending the Guidelines on Technical Supervision of Ships in Service and Annexes thereto.
The amendments introduced, inter alia, requirements for notification of a shipowner and Flag State MA and the RS Branch Offices on application of force majeure to a ship, specified requirements for entries to be made in the Register of Ship’s Lifting Appliances and Cargo Handling Gear by a responsible person as well as specified requirements in relation to forwarding a copy of the Report of the Chief Engineer to Ship’s File.
The amendments become effective on 15 May 2022.
