Portuguese Maritime Administration issues circular about the quality of drinking water

Portuguese Maritime Administration has issued a circular about the requirements to ensure the quality of drinking water provided on board Portuguese flagged vessels.

It is addressed to shipowners, companies, operators, recognized organizations, and masters of Portuguese-flagged vessels.

The aim of this Circular is to provide information related to the procedural requirements to ensure that drinking water provided on board Portuguese flagged vessels are of good quality and safe for consumption as required by the Portuguese Maritime Administration.

This Circular has been issued on November 18th, 2022.
