MPA Singapore warns mariners of construction

Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA Singapore) has published notices to mariners operating in the vicinity of Coney Island, Changi East and Pulau Bukom Kechil. Exact co-ordinates of the construction sites can be found in notice no. 004 of 2022, notice no. 005 of 2022 and notice no 006 of 2022.

Installation of jetty and floating pontoons at Coney Island will be held from 15 Jan 2022 to 14 July 2022, while construction of temporary loading jetty and dredging works off Changi East will be happening from from 01 Feb 2022 to 31 Mar 2022. Underwater works south of Pulau Bukom Kechil will take from 15 Jan 2022 to 30 Jun 2022.

Construction craft at the site will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals and a safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area. However, all vessels in the vicinity should keep clear, not enter the work area and navigate with caution.
