MPA Singapore warns vessels of marine works
Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore has issued several Notices warning vessels of marine works.
Soil Investigation Work in Banyan Basin
Mariners operating in Banyan Basin are warned to keep clear and not to enter the working area for a period of six months, from 10 May 2022 to 09 November 2022 . A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area, but maintaining a proper lookout and proceeding at a safe speed is strongly recommended.
Construction of Jetty at Tuas View
The revised Port Marine Notice No.078 of 2021 has extended the working period until 09 November 2022 and the list of craft and working areas have been revised. The working hours will be around the clock, so keeping clear and maintaining a proper lookout is recommended.
Dredging Works at Temasek Fairway
The revised Port Marine Notice No. 072 of 2021 has extended the working period until 09 November 2022 and the list of craft and working areas have been revised. Dredging works will be carried out by dredgers, supported by barges, tugs and work boats. The working hours will be 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays, so keeping clear and maintaining a proper lookout is recommended.
