Malaysia issues equivalent limitation of CoC endorsement

Marine Department Malaysia has issued a shipping notice regarding the equivalent limitation of Certificate of Competency endorsement.

The notice was published on 7 April 2023 and is addressed to shipowners, ship agents, masters, seafarers, port operators, Recognized Organization, and the maritime industry.

This notice serves to notify relation to the new equivalent limitation of the related Certificate of Competency (CoC) endorsement.

The requirements of the equivalent limitation for such CoC endorsements issued by the Malaysia Marine Department (MMD) appear in ANNEX A of the document.
