Liberia Maritime Authority has amended the Marine Notice regarding Ship Radio Station License renewal.
The Notice was published on 26 June 2024.
APPLICABILITY:
This Notice is applicable to all Liberian flag vessels equipped with ship radio stations.
REQUIREMENTS:
1.0 Ship Radio Station Licenses, except for Ship Radio Station Licenses issued to vessels bareboat chartered into Liberia, shall be issued for a period not exceeding four (4) years from the issue date.
2.0 Ship Radio Station Licenses issued to a vessel bareboat chartered into Liberia shall be issued for a period not exceeding two (2) years and shall expire on the same date as the expiration of the bareboat charter registration unless specified otherwise by the Administration.
3.0 Applications for radio licenses should be submitted through WayPoint (https://waypoint.liscr.com/). Alternatively, completed Applications for Ship Radio Station License (Form RLM 104) may be submitted to vesselcertificates@liscr.com for the renewal of a radio license. A copy of the application can be downloaded from the web at Ship Radio Station Licenses. Applications not submitted via WayPoint are subject to an additional $100 manual processing fee.
4.0 A Station License will be deemed invalid if proper application for renewal is not received prior to expiration.
5.0 If necessary, the Administration will issue a temporary authorization to a vessel whose Station License has expired and a properly completed application for renewal has not been received prior to expiration.
