KR amends Technical Rules for the Classification of Ships Using Low-flashpoint Fuels

Korean Register (KR) has amended the Guidance Relating to the Rules for Classification of Ships Using Low-flashpoint Fuels. The amendments take effect immediately and will be included in 2022 edition on KR Technical Rules which will be published in the first half of 2022.

Section 18 of Annex 5 is newly added with the reflection of the feedback from Domestic Business Development Team (DBD5000-2-2022). Development is based on the Guidances/Guidelines of Ammonia Ready notation and LNG ready notation which was previously established.
