KR amends the Guidance Relating to the Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships Part 8: Fire Protection and Fire Extinction

Korean Register (KR) on 1 August 2023 issued the Notice for Amendments to the KR Technical Rules (Guidance Relating to the Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships Part 8: Fire Protection and Fire Extinction).

KR added that these amendments have been made to reflect IACS Resolutions.

Amendments:

• IACS UI SC 30 Rev.3
• IACS UI SC 70 Rev.4 Corr.1
• IACS UI SC 121 Rev.2 Corr.1

Also, the establishment of these amendments will be included in the 2023 edition of KR Technical Rules.
