KR amends Guidance Relation to the Rules for Classification of Steel Ships
Korean Register (KR) has informed on its website that the amendments have been made to the KR Technical Rules 2023 as an attachment to Requests for Establishment/Revision of Classification Technical Rules.
The amendment in the Guidance Relation to the Rules for Classification of Steel Ships (Part 1 - Classification and Surveys) refers to the clarification of items covered by the CMS system and machinery permissible for the chief engineers' inspection.
The establishment will be included in the 2023 edition of KR Technical Rules which will be published in the first half of 2023.
The date on which the application for the survey is submitted is March 1st, 2023.
