KR amended its Technical Rules to reflect IMO Resolutions, effective 1 January 2024

Korean Register (KR) on 30 November 2023 announced that the amendments to the KR Technical Rules (Guidance Relating to the Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships, Part 5) have been made to reflect IMO Resolutions, effective 1 January 2024.

Amendments:

• Resolution MSC.474(102), and SOLAS II-1 Reg.12.6.2

Also, these amendments will be included in the 2023 edition of KR Technical Rules provided on the website.
