Korean Register has issued the Guidelines for Ships of Polyethylene.
This document was published on February 1st, 2023.
This document applies to the design, construction, exhaust gas emission and noise emission, etc. of marine recreational vessels such as pleasure boats and yachts with a hull length of 2.5 m to 24 m.
It is important to point out that, where KR deems it appropriate, ISO, KS, or internationally recognized standards considered equivalent may be applied for items not listed in this document.
Fire protection and fire extinguishing must be in accordance with the requirements of the Flag Administration along with these guidelines.
