IACS issues guidelines for the implementation of SEEMP and CII

The International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) has published the guidelines for the implementation of SEEMP and CII.

This document (Rec 175 New) was published on April 1st, 2023.

The purpose of this document is to address issues related to the verification of SEEMP/CII and to provide guidance to support the implementation of the IMO SEEMP/CII under regulations 26 and 28 of Annex VI of MARPOL.

As for the SEEMP, the emphasis is on the implementation of SEEMP Part III, specifically, the part related to regulation 26.3.
