Guide Book on Identification of Fishing Boats in Asian Waters Spread published by ReCAAP

The Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP) has published the Guide Book on Identification of Fishing Boats in Asian Waters Spread.

This guide book has been issued on November 1st, 2022.

The different types of fishing boats operating in Asian waters are compiled in this Guide book, to assist the ship master and crew, to become more familiar with the characteristics and image of the boats that are operating in different regions in Asia.

This Guide book will also facilitate the crew’s vigilance when sighting boats/vessels that appear out of the norm and to adopt the necessary precautionary measures.
