Classification Society DNV has revised its Class Programmes about iron castings, steel pipes, steel pipe fittings, and steel forgings.
These three documents were published on February 1st, 2023.
Iron Castings
This Class Programme supersedes the September 2021 edition of DNV-CP-0249
The purpose of this document is to provide a description on which DNV bases its approval of manufacturers (AOM) intending to supply iron castings in accordance with DNV-RU-SHIP Pt.2 or other standards provided by DNV.
This document also provides requirements for manufacturers of iron castings, including the manufacturer's welding shop and heat treatment facilities.
Steel Pipes and Steel Pipe Fittings
The purpose of this Class Programme is to provide a description on which DNV bases its approval of manufacturers (AOM) intending to supply steel pipes and steel pipe fittings in accordance with DNV-RU-SHIP Pt.2 or other standards provided by DNV.
This Class Programme document also provides requirements for manufacturers of steel pipes and steel pipe fittings, including the manufacturer's welding shop and heat treatment facilities.
This document supersedes the September 2021 edition of DNV-CP-0252.
Steel Forgings
This document supersedes the September 2021 edition of DNV-CP-0247.
The purpose of this document is to provide a description on which DNV bases its approval of manufacturers (AOM) intending to supply steel forgings in accordance with DNV-RU-SHIP Pt.2 Ch.2 or other standards provided by DNV.
Also, this document provides requirements for manufacturers of steel forgings, including the manufacturer's heat treatment facilities.
