The Shipping Deputy Ministry of Cyprus has issued a circular informing seafarers about the vaccination against the COVID-19 virus.
This circular was published on February 24th, 2023, and is addressed to all owners and managers of ships flying the Cyprus flag, and ship managers operating in Cyprus.
The relevant Circular 32/2021 titled “Vaccines against the COVID-19 virus” published by the Shipping Deputy Ministry on July 1st, 2021, regarding the vaccination of seafarers serving on board vessels is still valid subject to vaccines availability and on a first come first serve basis.
You are therefore requested to inform all ships that fall within the scope of the above Circular and are still willing to vaccinate their crew members, to apply for the provision of vaccines accordingly.
