ClassNK starts e-Certificate service for Japanese-flagged vessels

The Japanese government has officially approved the issuance of electronic certificates, ClassNK informed on its website.

E-Certificate can be issued to Japanese-flagged vessels and DOC (Document of Compliance) can also be issued to companies managing Japanese-flag vessels as e-Certificate.

Therefore, ClassNK announced that certificates and DOC will be e-Certificates on/after February 13th, 2023.

Neither application nor registration is required to use ClassNK e-Certificate service.
