ClassNK released "FAQs on the EU-ETS for Shipping"

The Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) has released “FAQs on the EU-ETS for Shipping”, an overview and necessary preparation of the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU-ETS), which is expected to be introduced to the maritime industry.

This ClassNK document provides an overview of the EU-ETS and introduces the necessary preparations in a Q&A format.

ClassNK also adds that it will update the information promptly in accordance with deliberations in the EU.
