CCS issues Rule Change Notice for Green Eco Ships

China Classification Society (CCS) has updated parts of Chapter 2 of Rules for Green Eco Ships due to the recent changes to MARPOL Annex VI.

In order to to comply with the corresponding requirements in Chapter 4 of MARPOL Annex VI, Table 2.3.2.4 Reduction Factors for Calculation of Required EEDI was revised.

The changes enter into force on 01 April 2022 and the full document can be viewed here.
