China Classification Society (CCS) has issued the Guidelines for Ships Using Methanol/Ethanol Fuel.
This document has been published on November 30th, 2022, and is effective from July 1st, 2022.
The Guidelines For Ships Using Methanol/Ethanol Fuel apply to ships of 20 m in length and above, constructed by steel or equivalent metallic material and using methanol/ethanol fuel or ready for a methanol/ethanol fuel system (hereinafter referred to as methanol/ethanol fueled ships).
