Cayman Islands revises Instructions to Recognized Organizations and their Surveyors

The Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands (MACI) has issued revised Instructions to Recognized Organizations and their Surveyors.

This Shipping Notice was published on February 1st, 2023.

This document contains technical instructions for recognized organizations for the Cayman Islands-flagged vessels.

The Cayman Islands has appointed: ABS, BV, DNV, LR, ClassNK, and RINA.

This Shipping Notice includes changes to:

• Section 2.2 Certificate of Survey – NOx tier description to be included;
• MARPOL VI added section 5 - "recreational purposes".
