The Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (DAFF) issued a notice on changes to the Biosecurity Portal digital identity (myGovID) landing page.
The notice was published on 27 June 2024.
This notice affects Biosecurity Portal users, including approved arrangements operators, customs brokers, importers, manned depots, and freight forwarders, who access the Portal via the digital identity (myGovID) pathway.
The changes include updates to the login tiles on the Biosecurity Portal’s myGovID landing page to support new services, such as external verification for eCertificates through the EVE website. Detailed information about these changes can be found in Import Industry Advice Notice ‘136-2024: Approved arrangement class 19 access to eCertificates via EVE’.
The E-Certificates tile will be visible only to users logged in via the myGovID pathway and accredited for approved arrangement Class 19.2. Current users will continue to access the portal with their existing login details.
