Australia amends Biosecurity Act and Biosecurity Regulation

The Australian Government published two compiled biosecurity documents:

• Biosecurity Act 2015, and
• Biosecurity Regulation 2016.

Biosecurity Act 1985

This document was published on December 23rd, 2022, and is effective from December 6th, 2022.

It is a compilation of the Biosecurity Act 2015 that shows the text of the law
as amended.

Biosecurity Regulation 2016

This document was issued on January 9th, 2023, and is effective from December 20th, 2022.

It is a compilation of the Biosecurity Regulation 2016 that shows the text of the law as amended.
