Antigua and Barbuda issues ILO circular on testing and certification of lifting appliances

The Antigua and Barbuda Maritime Administration has issued the ILO Circular No. 2022-003 on testing and certification of lifting appliances.

This Circular is addressed to ship owners, operators, masters, and officers of Antigua and Barbuda flagged ships, and recognized organizations. It applies to all Antigua and Barbuda flagged Ships.

This Circular was published on November 29th, 2022, and supersedes SOLAS Circular 2012-009.

This document sets out guidance on the inspection and testing requirements for lifting appliances for Antigua and Barbuda ships and also provides additional information on the Merchant Shipping (Lifting Appliances Survey) Directive 2022.
