Amendments to KR Technical Classification Rules

Korean Register (KR) has issued a Notice for Amendments to KR Technical Classification Rules. The amendments entered into force on the 22nd of March and will be included in 2022 edition on KR Classification Technical Rules which will be published in the first half of 2022.

Changes have been made to Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships and to Guidance Relating to the Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships. Amended part 1 of both documents had revised the requirements for open-up survey of CMS according to the approval of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Republic of Korea.
